How do you stay healthy holistically during this crisis? Although we can’t control what’s happening to the world, the economy, our county, and the people within our city. We have to stay focus on what we have control over. Which is what? Our mindset, our health, our spiritual wellness, and most importantly, how we respond and react with our environment and other humans. Yes, humans. Not everyone we encounter is our friend, family, or co-worker.

Are you doing everything you can to keep you and others safe?

Social Distancing is now an option. Everyone must adhere. Stay home. Wash your hands for 20 seconds. Think smart. We don’t need any heroes.

Are you finding alternate ways to provide stability and structure in your personal and work life?

Assign a delegate to attend your Zoom meetings
Go for a walk. You’ll find the most interesting things you never noticed. Simple things are now amusing.

Do you give gratitude regularly and are you generous during this time?

  • Front line healthcare workers – stay home, be smart when you do have to go out, encourage others to stay positive
  • Delivery services – tip well and be kind
  • Grocery Cashiers & Staff – be prepared, be smart with touching the cart and the any of your personal items/body

What do you to stay healthy and focused on your goals?

Workout any way you can. Get creative and set reasonable expectations. Don’t forget you’re adapting each day, and you can’t expect the same level of productivity, but you also can’t make excuses for not taking care of yourself.

  • Walk – Urban hiking (explore your neighborhood and streets you’ve never been to); challenge yourself to do an errand walking
  • Fun – Zumba
